Everton increasingly optimistic to be able to recruit Gibson
Everton are believed to be in pole position, in the hunt for the signature of Newcastle United’s talented young defender Lewis Gibson.
Currently, there are so many clubs competing to convince Gibson to leave in the summer transfer window, with some of them Premier League clubs, such as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Southampton.
The Toffees management convinces Gibson that Ronald Koeman’s figure is the right coach figure to help him develop his ability as a defender.
And Koeman was known to often provide opportunities for young players to show the capacity they have.
And the presence of some young retainers like Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman in Everton’s main team proves that Goodison Park is the right place for Gibson to develop his maximum potential.
Reportedly, Everton have prepared transfer funds reached 2 Million Pounds Sterling to convince the Magpies off it in the summer of this year.
